French black metal project TAUFPATIN have revealed “Ne serais-je plus la Bienvenue?”, the fifth track previewing their debut album Les Malfaisances de la Taufpatin, due October 7 via Antiq.
The album centers on the story of La Taufpatin, a witch from eastern France and Alsace whose tale drives the record’s concept. According to the label’s presentation, the character retaliates after being excluded from a fairy gathering, setting the album’s narrative of mischief, vengeance and dark folklore into motion.
The new track continues the rollout of the album ahead of its international release.
