ENTER SHIKARI have released Live From The Golden Age, a four-track video session filmed in an abandoned manor, with digital screens covering its windows to change the surroundings presented during the performances. The session includes the first live airing of recent single “Higher Ground.”
Tom Pullen directed the video, while George Perks recorded and mixed the audio. Frontman Rou Reynolds explained that the setting and screens were central to the band's approach to the session.
“In typical ENTER SHIKARI fashion, we didn’t want to just do a standard ‘live in the studio session’. So we broke into an abandoned manor in the middle of nowhere, and painstakingly placed digital screens over the windows in an attempt to present the tracks in different environments despite the limits of the space,” Reynolds said.
“Higher Ground” arrived as a surprise single on October 6, 2026, according to the earlier announcement preserved in the band's source record. The new session brings that recent release into a live setting alongside three other tracks.
The accompanying announcement from Cosa Nostra PR also reports that ENTER SHIKARI have announced an indefinite hiatus through Instagram. It points to the band's statement about their future without specifying a hiatus start date in the press release.
The announcement separately outlines a November UK and EU arena run, described as the band's biggest headline tour across those territories. The EU leg begins at Hamburg's Sporthalle on November 3 and includes Düsseldorf's Mitsubishi Halle, which the release identifies as their largest German headline booking to date, at a venue with a stated capacity of 7,500.
The UK dates begin at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on November 13, followed by stops including Cardiff, Hull, Glasgow and Manchester. The run closes with Alexandra Palace shows in London on November 20 and 21. HOLDING ABSENCE and THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS are listed as support for both the UK and EU legs.
