CRESCENDIUM have released the music video for “Chandra,” the latest preview of their upcoming concept album DRAC, due November 11, 2026.
Led by frontwoman and composer Elena Cor Tauri, the project frames its new material around black and death metal while exploring the connection between historical witch persecutions and pressures placed on women in contemporary society.
The band describes DRAC as a six-track concept album built around a woman with magical abilities who is stigmatized and ultimately burned alive before transforming into a demonic figure. Musically, the record combines black metal passages, death metal riffs, choirs, orchestral layers, screams and clean vocals.
“Chandra” extends that concept into a surreal horror story filmed in the Finnish wilderness, following the transformation of a young woman into a demonic entity.
CRESCENDIUM previously released “Ravish My Flesh, Soil My Name” in August, while a third single, “Dämmerlicht,” is scheduled for late October. Verderbnis frontman Martin, also known as ChaoZ, appears on that track as a guest vocalist.
