Werewolf Records has announced the international release of Satanic Warmaster’s eighth full-length album, Drachenkreuz, set for November 13, 2026.
The Finnish band’s new record is scheduled to arrive on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape. An advance stream is already available through Werewolf Records’ official YouTube channel, while preorder information has also been made available by the label.
According to the announcement, Drachenkreuz has roots in the sessions for 2022’s Aamongandr. The material was initially conceived alongside that album, with the idea of recording two full-lengths at once, before being completed later with a different approach. The source also frames the new record as a companion of sorts to Aamongandr, while contrasting it with 2024’s Exultation of Cruelty, which it describes as a move toward older and more primitive territory.
The album’s cover artwork was created by Jarkko Koponen. The tracklist runs eight songs:

Satanic Warmaster was formed in 1998 and is led by founder Werwolf. In the label’s announcement, the band’s newest material is presented as building on the melodic and atmospheric traits associated with its later-era work while drawing from sessions that date back several years.
Werewolf Records described the album’s opening stretch with the phrase, “Let the ‘Winds of Eternal War’ blow!”
