Norwegian black metal band Urarv have revealed a new song, Operation Genocide, ahead of the release of their third album Nychta Psychis.
The track is the second song to surface from Nychta Psychis, which is scheduled for international release on October 16 via Darkness Shall Rise Productions. A video for the album track Dødheimsgard had been unveiled previously.
According to the press material, Operation Genocide centers on war and human greed, while also referencing the 1890 Wounded Knee massacre and paying tribute to Crazy Horse.
Urarv were launched in 2003 by Aldrahn. The source material identifies him for his past work with Thorns, Dødheimsgard and Zyklon-B. Nychta Psychis follows a selective catalog from the band and runs 32 minutes across five tracks.
