Sacred Oath will release its 10th studio album, Don’t Be Afraid, on December 4, 2026. The record will be distributed worldwide through SRGILS/Virgin Music.
Digital pre-orders are scheduled to open on November 20 via Apple and Amazon Music, with instant delivery of all five previously released singles.
Don’t Be Afraid contains seven tracks and runs 40 minutes and 49 seconds. The album’s track list is: “Tea and Witch Cake,” “1986,” “Don’t Be Afraid,” “Is It Time?,” “Driven,” “Us & Them,” and “Aeon Dancer.”
The first single from the album, “Is It Time?”, arrived in November 2024. According to the announcement, Sacred Oath continued rolling out additional singles over an 18-month span through March 2026, releasing songs individually ahead of the full album.
Singer and guitarist Rob Thorne, who also produces the band’s recordings, said the group took a different approach this time by writing and producing songs one at a time rather than completing the full album in one concentrated session. He described the process as “a new and unique experience!”
The album also marks a return to Sacred Oath’s classic four-piece lineup: Rob Thorne on vocals and guitar, Damiano Christian on guitar, Scott Waite on bass, and Kenny “Thundarr” Evans on drums. Thorne and Evans have been with the band since 1985 and have appeared on every Sacred Oath album, including its live releases.
