Chilean dark metal band ATER have released a new music video for their single Sleep, offering the first preview of their next full-length album, Everlasting. The album is scheduled for release on January 29, 2027 via Torque Records.
The video for Sleep was directed by ATER drummer Vincent Zbinden. According to the band, the song marks a different approach from their earlier material, leaning into a more emotional and restrained side while still staying rooted in the group’s dark aesthetic.
Frontman Fernando Bühring described the track as “a very personal song.”
Everlasting was produced by Fernando Bühring and recorded at Torque Records. Mixing was handled by Daniel Lancaster, while mastering was completed by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. The album artwork was created by Travis Smith.
ATER are based in Santiago, Chile. Sleep follows a recent run of releases from the band, including the 2024 album Somber and the 2025 singles The Fall and Venus. Their debut album, Eternal Gray Spiral, was released in 2018.
The band’s current lineup consists of Fernando Bühring, Vincent Zbinden, Christian Vallejos and Javier Ciudad.
