Iron Spell have recorded a new version of “Stormrider” with Richie Faulkner, the guitarist identified in the announcement as a member of Judas Priest. The Chilean band return to the song to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut album, Electric Conjuring.
The new recording was recorded and mixed by Fabián Valdés at Igniter Recs. Illustrator José Canales created the artwork. “Stormrider” originally appeared on Electric Conjuring; this anniversary version brings Faulkner into the performance of that earlier material.
The release also gives us an update on Iron Spell’s next steps. The band are working on music for a third album and preparing shows for the remainder of the year. No title, release date or concert itinerary is supplied for those plans.
